Full disclaimer is that both ends of the park were flooded due to so much rain recently. This means that our goal of actually seeing the falls and even the other end of the park was not possible. We decided to make the best of the situation and walked along the river to enjoy the sunny afternoon.

There were many others doing just that in this popular park. There was a graduation party, people on boats, families walking the trail and dogs swimming in the river’s edge. When Kid Willow was notifying everyone that we were going to see the falls, one kind couple let C know about the trees over the trails. We have done such a walk prior to having the kiddos, but this time will have to pass.

We agreed to try and visit again once the waters have receded and the trees have been sorted.
