Due to circumstances we had to be away from crowds. However, we definitely wanted to get out and enjoy a gorgeous day so we went the other direction on the Greenway. We decided to walk to the river. In the past C and I have walked to the Mississippi River at different points in town so it suits that we would chose the Greenway this time. I am so glad we did, it was a nice change of pace.

C also enjoyed asking Kid Willow if they could get the shoes from the benches for him. Seeing as the shoes were bronze sculptures attached to the benches, Kid Willow couldn’t. At the same “rest stops” they had questions to think about along the way. It was nice to see public art in such a place.
