Raspberry Island, St. Paul

So after a few misses in plans, we walked through downtown/city center of St Paul to the small island. This island is next to Harriet Island Park where you catch the riverboats mentioned in an earlier post. Please note that we’ve had an unusually warm winter break which has broken the theory that once the second snow hits that it will be around for the winter. The ground is still frozen so no spring like growth yet.

Baby Willow and C had a great time singing songs and playing on the modern band shell. The view of the cityscape was cool. It looks like one of those small parks where a picnic on a blanket would be great fun. We had to be very careful with Baby Willow as there are not any barriers between the land and where the river meet. This would be a great place to visit again to have that picnic.

Bye for now.
