It was one of those days when you really want a sweet treat from a bakery. C stopped by A Baker’s Wife to buy a variety of baked goods. I was really curious about what C thought due to the change in ownership a few months ago. C said that it looked like a “work in progress” as far as the interior of the shop goes. So we focused on the treats C purchased to share with friends stopping by for a short visit.

I know that the feelings about the change are strong, but the treats were nice. C bought: a massive lemon bar, a massive brownie topped with chopped nuts, a orange and almond muffin, a red velvet cupcake for me and a sugar cookie for Baby Willow. I’m glad he bought a nice variety, and I was not disappointed by the treats.
