Early this week we were treated to a trip to the MN Zoo by our close neighbors. Due to the freezing drizzle and the sometimes slick pathways we did not trek too far from the indoor exhibits available. We walked the tropical trail and spent time in the aquarium along with the Russian wilderness area.

We all seemed to love our visit. Baby Willow especially loved having a pint sized tour guide showing the different animal exhibits. Watching Baby Willow giggle and have a grand time made even the harder parts easier. I was pleased to see Baby Willow correctly identify the sea dragon from the sea horse.

We thoroughly enjoyed visiting and were grateful for the generous gift from our neighbors. Having them as tour guides was really helpful. They mentioned that they used to visit on a fairly regular basis and it positively showed. A good afternoon for us.
