A couple of weekends ago, C Baby Willow and I met some friends and their dogs “Grass Anchor” and “Jungle Fever” for the Open Streets. This is when a street is closed off to traffic for a period of time. We went to the Lake Street event. Lake Street was closed from Chicago Avenue to 41st Avenue I believe. There were food trucks and stalls from the store fronts. I enjoyed going through the boxes of records at Hymies and grabbing a special cupcake from the Longfellow Market. People walking with their families and dogs. It was a surreal experience to walk down the middle of Lake Street with my family.

We could not get great photos, but something to give you an idea. Though, it was a good time.
