It was a beautiful day and despite the snow pack on the ground it was 50F/10C outside. Seeing as it was also sunny and we had cabin fever; we took the risk and had a picnic in the park. In exploring other areas we discovered Casperson Park in Lakeville, MN.
We were lucky and found a dry patch under a weeping willow near the walking path. The trail was a good length for the day. The kiddos loved the swings. Kid Willow really enjoyed the dry playground equipment.
C and I agreed that it was just right for our first picnic of 2018. I wouldn’t mind visiting when the snow has melted away and it is more green.
Bye for now.
