A while ago we had a lovely picnic in this park after visiting with friends in the area. We thought it would be a lovely place to revisit. We walked around the lake and explored the park some more. I am glad we took our time as we were able to hear the birds and the frogs. Baby Willow however enjoyed running ahead frequently so I suppose not everyone wanted to take a leisurely pace.  I did not expect to see an egret and a heron fishing in the lake or anticipate the lake’s size. C and I enjoyed a change in scenery and the relatively calm time.
