A family of friends wanted to share the experience of Macy’s Santaland with the three of us. For them, this is a traditional visit. Upon hearing that the Macy’s downtown is closing and that this was the last year for Santaland in the Twin Cities, we decided that it was definitely a good idea to visit.

As expected the space was decorated with elves and the day in the life at the North Pole. The elves were very busy getting things prepared for the big day. It was a fun exhibit and Baby Willow really enjoyed the different vignettes.

Afterwards Baby Willow was thrilled to tell people we knew about going to Santaland and meeting Santa. So I am relieved that the memory was a good one despite the reaction to “Santa.”
