It comes as no surprise that Lake Nokomis  is one of my favorites in the Twin Cities. It is not that it is unique, but it is a nice lake that is not overly busy. Our small walk did not disappoint. Everyone had something to enjoy on this walk: a baby turtle, a heron too quick to photograph, airplanes, willow trees, and a beautiful sunny day. Another casual afternoon well spent.
