Monmouth is a decent size town with many of the amenities one would need. The bustling High Street/main street is an easy walk and has experienced a few changes since the last time we visited. On one end of the high street is the Monnow Bridge that crosses the River Monnow. It is one of my favorite places to watch water fowl such as swans and ducks. Towards the other end of the high street one can see a different view of the River Monnow which I never really noticed until this trip.

Near the Monnow Bridge side of the high street is a pond with a path around it that C and I like to walk around when we visit. The plant life has really filled in since we were here last. It genuinely seems like a different location but in a good way.

Monmouth is one of those Welsh towns where it is an easy transition to being in the UK. Busy enough and quiet enough with genuinely helpful service. One example being the Salt and Pepper retail shop. Though you will likely need a vehicle if you want to leave the town as the closest train station is not in town; they do have a coach/bus service. That being said the high street flowers were in full bloom and I wanted to capture them instead of the high street shops this time.

I wish that I had spent more time in this town on this trip, but glad I had the time I did. Bye for now.
It looks really beautiful there!
