This retreat center is a perfect place to experience a space from the daily grind. This is true in the case of connectability as we did not have strong phone service in the building. They even have a hermitage location. This place hosts retreats, summer camps, and the like with a nice and knowledgeable site director.

We only stayed a weekend, but it definitely did a ton of good to recharge our batteries this past spring. The trails along the lake. The song of the loon. The violets and other small woodland flowers in quiet glory. The trees being their full “tree selves” and towering over us like gentle guards. The lake with small waves gently nudging the the land whispering calm.

Truthfully I wish I had more words for this place. I suppose this is a good sign.
